Pro Flight Simulator 2012 is a virtual flight sim game which was originally released in November 2010. The game has a number of unique features including the ability to fly a wide variety of aircraft from the old classic airplanes such as the 1903 Wright Flyer to modern passenger jets, military fighters, helicopters and gliders. At present, you have 120 different types of aircraft from which to choose.
Once you select an aircraft, you have the option to choose from a wide variety of flight paths to fly, with different scenery from all around the world. You can choose to take off and land your aircraft at over 20,000 different virtual versions of real world airports in the game. So you can take off in San Francisco and fly to Europe, choosing to land in cities such as London, Rome or Paris.

However, before you embark on your journey, you will first need to learn the basics of flying an aircraft. Once you download and install the game you will need to get used to the cockpit, learn the flight controls and the various flight indicators and understand what it means when a specific light on or beeping. Once you get a basic understanding of this you will the need to learn how to take off smoothly and also land an aircraft without crashing!
For those in a hurry, the game provides an inflight mode option that enables you to skip these steps and start the game in the air. I would recommend taking the time to learn the take off and landing procedures as this helps you to have a much more realistic and authentic flight simulator experience and gain the skills to be as close to being a real pilot as possible.
Once you have mastered this steps and started your journey of flying around the world, you will quickly notice that Pro Flight Simulator 2012 also accounts for changes in weather patterns. So at times it may start to rain with cloudy skies and low visibility. At other times there might be gusts of wind or turbulence giving you a bumpy ride.
Of course there will also be times of calm and good weather and high visibility enabling you to enjoy the wide variety of realistic models of scenery from all over the world. The constantly changing and unpredictable weather conditions makes this flight simulator game refreshingly realistic with your pilot skills constantly tested by different weather conditions.
You will also notice that time changes in the game. Pro Flight Simulator accounts for changes in time, so while flying an aircraft you will notice day turning into night and vice versa depending on the time of day, where you are and in what direction you are flying. So if you fly across different time zones, Pro Flight Simulator 2012 will automatically adjust the time of day to realistic match your flight plan to the current time of day.
